ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
http://www.ericpiperart.com/
Eric Piper is a printmaker, performance artist, and creative director living in Norman, Oklahoma. After residencies in Northern Europe and national art tours in 2013, Eric founded an experimental DIY gallery/theatre in central Oklahoma called Dope Chapel.

Piper’s work pulls imagery from a globalized subconscious linking themes of identity, value, and finding your place is a foreign environment. Piper earned his BFA in printmaking/sculpture from the University of Oklahoma. He has shown and performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, including the La Friche de Belle Mai of Marsielles and La Gare Experimenta of Paris. Piper was awarded Momentum Spotlight Artist in 2015 and has curated and organized over a hundred shows with a huge variety
of international artists since opening Dope Chapel in 2014. In addition to hosting monthly workshops with free admission for passionate at risk youth and the financially disadvantaged at Dope Chapel, Piper has given lectures and workshops at Lamar
University, Cameron University, and is set to speak in Spain at University of the Basque Country in the coming months.
